Technology Support

All of the technology your student needs to participate in online classes is provided by South Carolina Calvert Academy. We offer comprehensive technical support for the systems we provide and complete information on proper usage of hardware and software.

SCCA families receive:

• One desktop computer and monitor per household
• One color printer per household with color printer cartridges
• Reimbursement for Internet service: Each household receives $150 per year paid quarterly.

My Calvert

My Calvert is the SCCA Learning Management System and it serves as your student’s personalized online portal to all the tools and information needed for your virtual school experience. Students, parents, and supervising teachers access everything through this web-based application.

Each personalized student portal features:

• Access to online classrooms
• Valuable age-appropriate supplemental tools in the Calvert i-Library
• Supplemental instruction through interactive activities
• Objective assessments and instructional videos
• On-the-go access with e-Textbooks
• Connection to the Student Community

My Calvert Tools for Learning Guides (Parents)

• Monitor student progress using the online assessments and online grade book
• View assignments, announcements, and supplemental instructional material
• Communicate with teachers and other families using online bulletin boards in the Parent Community
