In the event a storm threatens during the day, parents may pick up their children at any time they feel it advisable to do so. Regular carpool drivers may take regular carpool riders, and we ask that you assume responsibility for the children in your carpool until they are in their parents' care. Being certain a responsible person is at home to care for the child, especially when school dismisses early, is imperative. If you cannot pick up your child, we will keep him or her at school unless another adult known to the child demonstrates to us that they have your permission to transport your child. Please advise us in writing if you wish to restrict this policy for your child. |
