This year we are pleased to offer a periodic after school care enrollment option for Lower School students. This option is being offered on a temporary, space available basis and is subject to change at any time at the discretion of Calvert School. The standard guidelines for After School Care, described on pages 19 and 20 of the Parents’ Handbook, will apply to Periodic After School Care, and we ask that you become familiar with those guidelines when considering the Periodic Care option.
Periodic After School Care Policy:
- The Periodic Care option may be utilized for a maximum of three (3) days per academic year.
- All required student medical forms must be received prior to attending Periodic Care.
- Periodic Care must be pre-registered no fewer than three school days in advance and no more than two weeks in advance. To sign up and enroll for this ASC option please call Gail Pietrowski at extension 136 and she will inform you if space is available and confirm your registration.
- The cost for Periodic Care is $40 per day, regardless of the length of time staying and your account will be billed upon your registration. There will be no refunds once you have confirmed your registration for a particular day.
- In order to comply with State regulations regarding staffing levels and student/worker ratios, Periodic Care is offered on a space-available basis. There is no guarantee that space will be available for any specific day.
