science kitThe Discoveries in Science Intermediate Kit (suitable for Grades 4-8) continues your children’s journey in scientific exploration, and introduces them to elementary physics. The activities in this course are divided into eight general topics: using a magnifying scope, identifying acids and bases, using machines to do work, using a compass, investigating sound, creating waves, investigating light, and generating electricity. Some activities span several of these topics. You select activities based on your students' interest and abilities.

 

The kit includes: Lesson Manual with activities, double concave lens, double convex lens, acid/base test paper, magnifying scope, slides and cover slips, prepared slides, prism, single pulley, double pulley, pulley cord, three color paddles, tuning fork, compass, D-cell battery holders, mini lamps, mini lamp holders, electrical switch, bell wire, slinky, and a colorful, laminated storage box.
