The Annual Fund
The Annual Fund, now in its 19th year, relies on the loyalty and generosity of its many alumni, parents, past parents, grandparents, and friends. Each year these individuals join to help bridge the gap between the tuition income and the actual cost of educating each Calvert student. This program, which contributes approximately 6% to the school's operating budget, is vitally important to the Calvert students and faculty.
Endowed Funds
Calvert School has a general endowment fund that, along with the Annual Fund, provides yearly income to the school's operating budget. Calvert is also fortunate to have many restricted endowed funds that provide support to a variety of integral programs. These funds have been established by loyal members of our community who have chosen to make lasting contributions to Calvert.
Planned Gifts
A "planned gift" is any charitable gift, current or deferred, which is planned (usually with professional advice) to optimize a donor's financial, tax, and estate plans, while helping to secure the long-term financial security of Calvert School. Because each donor's interests, circumstances and financial goals differ, no two planned gifts will look exactly alike. Calvert works with donors and their advisors to create a unique gift that reflects both the donor's wishes and the school's needs.
