Networking With Calvert Families in Your State!
The Calvert Networking Program allows us to connect families interested in homeschooling with Calvert families in their area currently using our courses. Networking is a great way for families considering the use of Calvert materials to discuss with a family how the program works and to possibly inspect course materials.

Home school Support Groups
Home school support groups in your state are an excellent way to gain more assistance and guidance in your homeschooling endeavors. A regional support group fosters a wonderful sense on community among homeschooling families and allows for more opportunities to exchange ideas, plan group outings, and share in the overall experience of homeschooling! While Calvert supports the development of community between homeschool families, this list does not constitute affiliation between Calvert School and the groups represented below.
ABQ HOMESCHOOLERS
Based in Albuquerque, NM. Offering New Mexico homeschoolers information and support, including online forum, a detailed overview of local homeschooling law, and advice about local resources. We are also a support group offering social support, fun, and enriching educational activities. We welcome all homeschoolers to our two weekly park days on the east and west sides of Albuquerque.

LEA COUNTY HOMESCHOOL ASSOCIATION
Based in Lea County, NM. A group of parents and children who have come together to provide support, encouragement, and social situations which we would be unable to provide as individuals, such as field day events, special field trips, etc.

Christian Association of Parent Educators - New Mexico (CAPE-NM)
CAPE-NM is the acronym for Christian Association of Parent Educators - New Mexico, dedicated to serving God by providing Biblical encouragement and information on home school law and resources to interested parents, legislators, and officials. CAPE is an incorporated 501c3 organization, directed by a board subscribing to a Christian statement of faith. CAPE's purpose is to minister to, to encourage, and to inform the entire home school community, regardless of religion.

DRIVE Christian Support Group for Homeschooler Teens
D.R.I.V.E. is a Christian support group for homeschooled teens in the Albuquerque metropolitan area. It is more than just a social group, although we will have a tremendous amount of fun!

Sierra County Homeschool Association
Sierra County Homeschool Association provides support for the homeschool education process. The independence of homeschoolers is respected and supported with activities and materials chosen by the members. SCHA provides both social and academic events for anyone interested in supporting homeschooling and homeschoolers. Membership is currently free. When we work together, the stars are the limit!

BRADBURY SCIENCE MUSEUM
The Bradbury Science Museum is located at 15th and Central in downtown Los Alamos, the home of Los Alamos National Laboratory. The Museum serves as a bridge between the Laboratory and the community, helping to improve science education and science literacy. The Museum also serves as a window to the Laboratory, interpreting the Laboratory's history and current research.

ALBUQUERQUE MUSEUM OF ART & HISTORY
Starting Nov. 18th, 2007: Temples and Tombs: Treasures of Egyptian Art from The British Museum. A collection of magnificent objects spanning the full range of pharaonic history, from shortly before the Third Dynasty, about 2686 B.C., to the Roman occupation of the fourth century A.D. The exhibition provides a rare opportunity to view renowned Egyptian masterworks and lesser-known treasures before their final return to The British Museum.

Museum of Natural History
The Las Cruces Museum of Natural History is located in the Mesilla Valley Mall and is dedicated to broadening people's understanding of natural history, science, and the environment of New Mexico and the Chihuahuan Desert. We offer exhibits and educational programs geared towards this mission. The Chihuahuan Desert Nature Center houses more than 40 live animals from our area.

New Mexico Museum of Space History
