Making friends around the world
For a number of Calvert families, our Pen Pal Program offers them the opportunity to get to know another Calvert student who lives far away. In addition to developing a new friendship, our Pen Pal program enables children to enhance their writing skills and learn more about other parts of the U.S. and world. Many Calvert Pen Pals continue their correspondence for years -- and sometimes even decades.
Students are matched by age, grade level, special interests, and preferred gender. To get a pen pal, send an email to penpals@calvertservices.org. Requests usually take about five business days to process.
