Calvert and the military go back almost 100 years. Military personnel, as well as missionaries and diplomats, have used Calvert School to educate their dependents when stationed in remote locations in the U.S. and abroad since our beginning in 1906. In the 1940s, Calvert was used widely by dependents of soldiers stationed in Korea and Japan. Use by military personnel throughout the world continues today. The State Department also has used Calvert widely over the years for its staff’s children overseas.
