A Child's History Timeline Poster
Based on the Staircase of Time from the beginning of Virgil Hillyer's beloved "A Child's History of the World," our new wall poster illustrates the passage of time from early man to modern times and highlights the major events covered in the book.
Illustrations include Hannibal's elephants, the eruption of Mt. Vesuvius, and the Crusades.
Unlike traditional timelines which require a great deal of wall space to show the passage of time, our 22" x 40" poster allows students to easily see how time progresses. Each "flight" of stairs is 1000 years, and each step is a century. Through this innovative method of showing time, students are able to see how events build on each other and easily locate events in relation to one another.
