Calvert’s Spanish courses teach students to read and translate materials written in Spanish, and introduce students to Spanish grammar and vocabulary, emphasizing correct pronunciation and comprehension of the spoken language.
Students will also be exposed to the rich Spanish-speaking cultures of the United States, Mexico, Puerto Rico, and other countries. Upon enrollment, required Spanish 1a and 1b audio materials are available online at no charge. Audio CDs are available for an additional cost and include the audio for both Spanish 1a and 1b. The Advisory Teaching Service is available for either Spanish course.
