Comprehensive Curriculum

Verticy Learning Academy is the first comprehensive LLD curriculum program designed for use in a home schooling environment. It features:

• Specialized curriculum with customized pacing by subject
• Direct, sequential, and multi-sensory approach to reading instruction (decoding), comprehension, and written expression
• High level of personalized support including placement services, full academic support by phone, e-mail, or live chat for enrolled families, and an optional academic testing service
• Integration of proven technology to develop a student's ability to both fluently and orally, compose original essays and creative writing projects, and master correct pronunciation and spelling (Kurzweil, Kidspiration, and Audacity)
• Optional live instructional and observational sessions over the Internet with dedicated learning specialists assigned to each student

The Verticy Learning Program is customized to allow your child to move more quickly through his or her stronger subjects while providing more time to focus on subjects that require additional attention. Participating students will receive a direct, sequential, and multi-sensory approach to their reading instruction (decoding), comprehension, and written expression, ensuring academic success.
