Calvert Interactive featuring ATS
Sixth through Eighth Grades
Calvert School presents Calvert Interactive, a virtual classroom version of our Calvert Classic program, that features a live class taught by a Calvert Online Instructor. Calvert Interactive live classes meet online for two sessions per week on designated days. Students interact in class, participate in assigned threaded discussions, complete group projects, and conduct peer reviews online using Calvert-provided technology. Calvert Interactive gives your students the pacing flexibility they need combined with the interaction of a class.
Calvert Interactive classes are designed so that participating students are within ten lessons of one another. The live classes cover the subjects of language arts, science, history, and geography. Calvert’s Education Counselors are able to assist students directly with specific questions in the cumulative subject areas of math and grammar on the phone, through Live Chat, or during individually scheduled Student Online Support sessions.
Enrollment in ATS Online, the online version of Calvert’s signature testing program, is included with Calvert Interactive. Calvert employs innovative new technology for students to show work electronically, where appropriate, allowing the Advisory Teacher to review how students arrive at an answer, which contributes to a superior academic experience.
