Calvert School is a Pre-K through 8th grade school with a curriculum that is designed to challenge capable boys and girls. Children are prepared for secondary school and for a lifetime of learning by mastering the academic basics. Through its financial aid and recruitment efforts, Calvert strives to offer an educational opportunity to students of varied ethnic and economic backgrounds.

LOCATION
The school is located in Tuscany-Canterbury, a residential neighborhood in Baltimore City just north of Johns Hopkins University and south of
Loyola College, accessible from Charles Street and 1-83.

CAMPUS
Divided by Tuscany Road, the 13-acre campus is comprised of lower and middle school facilities.

FACULTY & STAFF
No matter how many special rooms or how many pieces of equipment the building holds, our most valuable resource has always been our faculty. Calvert teachers are dedicated to giving careful and continuous attention to each child. There are 66 teaching faculty at Calvert School, 48% of whom hold a graduate degree.

FINANCIAL AID
Calvert spends 10% of tuition on financial aid: approximately 20% of Calvert's families receive financial assistance. The financial assistance program is designed to help families who could not otherwise afford the cost of a Calvert education.

ANNUAL FUND
Calvert is proud to have a vigorous Annual Fund program which subsidizes the cost of each student's education by 7.5%

CALVERT SCHOOL PARENTS' ASSOCIATION
The CSPA includes all current parents of students and does not require dues. The goal of the CSPA is to enhance communication, provide volunteer opportunities, and to promote campus community and school spirit.

ATHLETICS
Calvert School offers intramural athletics in the Lower School and focuses on skill building. The Middle School offers an interscholastic athletic program comprised of approximately eleven sports which are played over three seasons.
