Calvert Education Services to Host First Distance Learning Summit in Baltimore
Calvert Education Services will host TIDES (Trends in Distance Education Summit), June 17-19 in Baltimore. The meeting will bring together school superintendents, Calvert Partners and the education community at large to discuss the distance education for Kindergarten through Eighth grade students.

Maree Sneed, Partner at the law firm of Hogan and Hartson will deliver the keynote address, "Navigating the Federal Legal Landscape: An Overview of the Players and Policies Shaping Education Today". Ms. Sneed advises school districts, educational associations and education companies on a wide range of legal issues. She has been counsel of record in two Supreme Court cases, is on the faculty of the Harvard Graduate School of Education and serves as a board member and secretary of the National School Boards Foundation.
